The Plastiscines' new single is the answer to all who have ever posed the question of, what do you get when you cross the ’Riot-Girl’ pop of Shampoo with The Von Bondies? A killer single, that’s what. But on first play it’s easy to dismiss it as just throw away (‘yeah, yeah, you’re girls with attitude, well done the new Avril Lavigne’s’) but then after a while it actually sinks in, these girls actually have something. From the buzz guitars whipping out the power chords to the heavy chorus screaming ‘B I T C H’, it surely is the anthem to a nation of savvy, angry chicks. C’est magnifique!
