Could there be a better time to release a collaboration with the Welsh legend?
With a biopic of the life and times of drug smuggler Howard Marks showing at the local picture house, could there be a better time to release a collaboration with the Welsh legend? Well Kav (ex-Happy Mondays) looks set to ride on the film's success with his new EP ‘Mr Nice’.
Part Kasabian and part dance trip, Kav has turned up the bass behind Howard’s spoken word motif. The strong blend of waves of electronic sound with acoustic guitars creates quite the impressive formula for Mark’s theme tune. Whether or not he’ll have a band of musicians playing this wherever he goes is questionable.
It’s sure to please fans of both camps and may just be an introduction into the talents of Kavin "Kav" Sandhu. If he needs any more former drug dealers to collaborate with Bez is sure be at the front of the queue.
