Hot damn, the eighties are alive and kicking their legwarmers in the world of Angry Vs The Bear; back-combed Essex temptress Mitzi Fox’s husky whispers of demasking ex-lovers over throbbing synthscapades and eerily hollow male backing vocals would sit neatly next to Human League on a good old fashioned mixtape cassette.
The Bears have dropped their guitars along with their normal neon-bright personalities and wardrobes for lashings of keys and an icily removed demeanour, which is ironic considering the track’s title. However, with the current zeitgeist for keyboards and songbirds, the track is sure to get the kids showing emotion down at the local indie disco in the near future.
