The Stills - Helicopters

From their album 'Without Feathers', 'Helicopters' reflects a more upbeat outlook than The Stills' previous work. The band remains calculated, and it's obvious they pride themselves on quality production and musicianship. They come off, if it's possible, like a more accessible Interpol. The keyboards soar and provide the song with enough drive to plough through our senses in the most comfortable of ways.

This is not a 'dancey' tune, but it is most definitely one of the band's finest and most epic moments. This work is from the heart of vocalist Tim Fletcher and his bandmates, and though it isn't your conventional ballad, it will play the strings of your heart like a harp and you will feel like singing every note. We advise you to - holding it in is never a good thing.
