The Cribs - Moving Pictures

The second single from the Wakefield trio's latest album 'Men's Needs, Women's Needs, Whatever' is one of their best releases so far, with a catchy chorus and superb musicianship. 'Moving Pictures' is three minutes of punk-pop that is well written and features the excellent production by the Franz's Alex Kapranos.

The song opens with a warm bass and cutting guitar interplay leading into a melodic verse, where this simple relationship develops and becomes embellished. Gary Jarman spits out the catchy chorus which stretches his voice to the top of its range and really pushes the song into another gear.

A perfect concoction of spritely melodies and positivity, The Cribs' next single is the ideal launch pad into their upcoming October tour of the UK.
