Redjetson - The Unravelling
Posted 24th Apr 2007 in Single Reviews, Redjetson by Harriet Jennings |

Somebody pass us the paracetamols, please. This is dull, dreary and death-inducing. If there were a list of songs to make you want to throw yourself in front of a moving truck, this one be pretty high up on it.It starts off fairly optimistically, for, oooh, 16 seconds. Monotone, dredgy vocals come in slowly, and gradually steal away your will to live. It builds up and up, becoming a massive array of crashing cymbals and guitar noises... and stays there. Until it ends. The entire room then breathes a sigh of relief, including your speakers.
We suppose it'd be alright, if you like that kind of thing. It's not a big success with us, though - we like life.
