Noisettes - Don’t Upset The Rhythm

Having seen this band supporting Muse back in 2006 failing to make an impact, expectations were not high for this record. How wrong, very wrong. For starters, this has to be one of the most infectious and catchiest songs to come out in 2009 so far. Try listening to it and not having "go baby, go baby, go" spinning round in your head for hours afterwards. It's pure indie pop at its best and lead singer Shingai Shoniwa will have dancefloors nationwide getting on their groove to her soulful voice. Its funky bass beats and electro-tempo are a foolproof combination to get your feet moving.

Noisettes were cited as being the next big thing in 2007 and it never really happened for them, but if this song is anything to go by, this time they will be sticking around.
