New Adventures - How I Got My Devil Back (Part 1)

Somewhere there is a place where children are allowed to play in the park and parents leave their back doors open because there is no word for burglary. Teenagers only don hoods to keep off the rain, which only ever falls in the form of a light and invigorating shower and exists to keep the grass looking impossibly lush the whole year round. In the evening families all gather for tea, which they eat together at the table where they discuss the latest news, which is nearly always cheerful and inspiring. When they have finished they adjourn to the living room to watch a version of Pop Idol for which lack of talent has no place, not even for laughs.

Music is efficient, melodic, structured, wistful and, above all, very, very shiny. Robert Miles and Coldplay are demi-gods, guitars are held at arms length, the sole use of a lighter is to be held aloft and the closest thing to the Devil's music is Snow Patrol. Basically, colours are brighter, the air is cleaner and even melancholy wears a smile. At the dawn of time, the big bang was preceded by the word 'Dreamworks'. If this sounds like the place for you, let New Adventures into your life now.
