Moby - I Love To Move In Here
In the last few years there's been less success but on the new album and with this single, Moby is back on form.
'I Love To Move In Here' is the third single from his long awaited album 'Last Night'. A new challenge for the egg headed New Yorker, teaming up with rapper Grandmaster Caz leads to a somewhat late 80s affair.
This feels like Moby's tribute to the music that inspired him back in the day, early house and old skool hip-hop. Moby isn't scared of experimenting with genre and it's all on offer on 'I Love To Move In Here' - funk, disco and chilled out piano. He just loves to throw it all into his melting pot and see what happens. In the last few years there's been less success but on the new album and with this single, Moby is back on form.
Though not nearly as marvellous as some of his 90s output, but at least Moby has moved on from making another version of 'Play'. Definitely worth checking out, at least just for the bizarre video.
