Juliette and the Licks - Sticky Honey

Juliette Lewis makes the change from film to rock star less embarrassing by being actually quite good. Trouble is, as good a song as 'Sticky Honey' is, it doesn't feel like it's the mischievous Lewis here at all. Her undeniable quirkiness isn't shining through that much - it feels a bit sterile, and too slick.

Some bands can storm through a two and half minuter, and leave an impression - this doesn't get that far. It's inoffensively catchy and fun, but not going to set the world alight.
