Belle and Sebastian - The Blues Are Still Blue

Twee indie popsters Belle And Sebastian wouldn't hurt a fly, would they? Or shout at it. Or probably even talk in a loud voice. And there's no way on earth they'd be caught with an anthem in working that's just a little bit glam pop. None at all.

Wrong. 'The Blues Are Still Blue' does have a bit of the Marc Bolan about it. Sure, you'll laugh now, even if you've heard it, but go back and give it a spin and it's there, loud and proud.

Still so upbeat there's a risk of hitting your head on the ceiling, and undeniably full of that indie pop charm that got them where they are today, it sees Belle And Sebastian are at the top of their game, and that's something very, very good indeed.
