The Voice UK battle round song choices revealed: Cece Peniston, U2, Katy Perry and more

The Voice UK has revealed its contestants' song choices for the first battle rounds.

Battle one features 12 contestants fighting for a place in the live rounds as Sir Tom Jones, Danny O'Donoghue, Jessie J and Will.i.am make hard (and easy) choices. Dido, Cerys Matthews, Dante Santiago and Claude Kelly will help the coaches to decide between the warring contestants.

Jamie Bruce and LB Robinson will perform 'When Love Comes To Town' for Sir Tom Jones, a song made famous by U2 and BB King.

Matt Henry and Jordan Lee Davies perform Stevie Wonder's 'Do I Do' for Will.i.am. And in one of the more controversial moments of the battles, Nu-Tarna and Cleo Higgins make a mess of CeCe's Peniston's 'Finally'.

Team Jessie sees Ash Morgan and Adam Barron sing James Morrison's 'I Won't Let You Go', while Katie Benbow and Sarah Cassidy perform Katy Perry's 'ET'.

The coaches will also get the opportunity to 'steal' one of the axed contestants.

The Voice UK Battle Rounds air on BBC One at 8:35pm. The first results will air on Sunday from 7pm.
