The Automatic swing back into live action; possibly have trick up sleeves

The Automatic Remember The Automatic? OF COURSE YOU DO IT WAS A RHETORICAL QUESTION. Anyways, they did that song about a monster coming over a hill, it was a big hit, everyone was happy. But then LITERAL TRAGEDY struck, as B-Unique records apparently came to the conclusion that the mid-Noughties pop-screamo boom was over, the only member of the band anybody knew the name of (Pennie) buggered off, and second album This is a Fix died a miserable, lonesome death. Anyway, a less resilient band might have stumbled and collapsed, but not good old The Automatic. They cobbled together a new record, entitled Tear Down the Signs, and will be putting it out on their own Armored record label next year.

So far, so pitiable, but seems like a little label by the name of EMI is going to distribute it. Which presumably means that it is catchy. Or that somebody at EMI really liked 'Monster'. Anyway, here are some dates for you to enjoy next year, on what will presumably be one of their last tours before either oblivion or a return to the heady heights of their 2007 popular peak.
