Eminem and Britney Spears have denied 50 Cent, Eminem and Justin Timberlake the top spot: 'Scream & Shout' has held onto the UK singles number one for the second week.

50 Cent and Eminem are at number two with 'My Life' after heavy competition in the top three. They were number one in the midweek chart update, but they couldn't keep their lead as the weekend rolled around and and Britney's collaboration edged them out.

The reappearance of Eminem has made this week's top three is a battle of the 90s' icons. Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z are at three with 'Suit & Tie'. Despite a rush of publicity earlier in the week, downloads alone weren't enough to take it to the top of the chart.

Break-up queen Taylor Swift is at four with 'I Knew You Were Trouble', just barely ahead of Rihanna and Mikky Ekko's 'Stay' at five.

There's no need for Calvin Harris and Tinie Tempah to drown their sorrows because 'Drinking from the Bottle' has only slipped one place down to six.

James Arthur's 'Impossible' falls four places to seven, while Pitbull sinks his teeth into number eight with 'Don't Stop the Party'.

One Direction move up to number nine with 'Kiss You' as news of a Taylor and Harry reunion flies around the internet. And little Bruno Mars rounds off the top 10 with 'Locked Out of Heaven'.
