Manic Street Preachers will play a homecoming show for BBC Radio 2 next month.

The band will perform material from their recent album 'Postcards From A Young Man'.

It'll take place at Blackwood Miners Institute on 2nd December.

“We are thrilled and excited to be returning to a venue where we have spent many hours honing our snooker skills but this was before it became a live venue," comments Nicky Wire. "It has been nearly 25 years since we have played in our home town of Blackwood."

Tickets are free and will be allocated via a ballot. Register on bbc.co.uk/radio2 until November 18th. The gig will be broadcast on the day between 8pm and 10pm.
