Bastille

You might have heard this Bastille song when it was released back in May. Or you might just have heard it recently on the new promo trailers for Dancing on Ice 2013. Then again,

Bastille have quietly been rising this year and 2013 looks like it could be an even bigger year for the Dan Smith-led band. Their recent exposure on ITV has started to create a wave of tantalising buzz about the band.

So what's getting people in such a tailspin? 'Of the Night' is and when you click play, you'll understand why that is.

If you were born in the 80s, the 90s represents a golden age gone by and the doe-eyed nostalgia of this mash-up will have you wanting to kick down the fabric of space-time to get back there. Everything is reduced down to sparse beats and airy vocals, and there are no dodgy lyrics to be found. (Snap, we're looking at you.)
