Lana Del Rey has sampled Shirley Bassey's 'Big Spender'.
NME.com reports that the 'Born to Die' singer recorded her part in Smiler's 'Spender' two years ago when the two shared studio space.
Smiler wrote on the YouTube channel: "Well done to my girl Lana del Ray on her #1 album - proud to have her doing the vocals on Spender."
Since releasing her debut, Lana Del Rey has conquered the album charts and bagged the fastest-selling album of 2012 so far.
After reports that she may not record another album, the president of Polydor was quick to refute suggestions.
Ferdy Unger-Hamilton said: "[Lana Del Rey] had three CDs'-worth of songs written, with loads of brilliant tracks - enough for us to do the album and a deluxe, and still have stuff left for later records. She's a really talented writer and a remarkable lyricist."
