It looks like Lady Gaga is recruiting some big guns to work on her next album. Mother Monster has been in the studio with disco legend Nile Rodgers and acclaimed songwriter Diane Warren this week, kicking off work on the follow-up to ARTPOP.
Gaga's last album campaign wasn't quite up to what it should have been thanks to some dodgy filler on the LP and shoddy promotional work. In fact, the album never really quite took off in the way it should have until she paired up with Christina Aguilera for a new, non-creepy version of 'Do What U Want'. Now, however, she's looking to start fresh and work on new material with the two big-hitters.
Nile Rodgers shared a picture of himself, Gaga and Diane at the piano with the message: "@ladygaga @Diane_Warren Gaga read and sang the chart perfectly. She killed it."
Diane added: "@LadyGaga doing vocal exercises out-sings just about any singer in pop music."
ARTPOP hit number one in seven countries around the world, selling around 3m copies worldwide to date.
