Graham Coxon will support Paul Weller during Live from Jodrell Bank in June.

The musical event at Manchester's Jodrell Bank Observatory will be headlined by Paul Weller, fresh from the success of his Sonik Kicks album, on June 24, 2012.

Blur-star Graham Coxon has now been confirmed as Weller's main support act, performing in the shadow of the iconic Lovell telescope, one of the biggest and most powerful radio telescopes in the world. Live from Jodrell Bank looks set to be a showcase for two of the most talented artists

Graham's new solo album ‘A + E’ is released on April 2 and he's expected to play a set of both new and classic songs at Jodrell Bank.

Graham Coxon is revered by his musical peers being described by Noel Gallagher as ‘the most gifted guitarist of his generation’ and has previously collaborated with Paul Weller on the single ‘This Old Town’.

Paul Weller's looking forward to the performance: "I’m excited to play Jodrell Bank, it’s always good to perform in unique places and this will be the most unique of them all! It’s going to be a great show in a great space-age setting."
