Glastonbury organiser Emily Eavis has spoken out to deny that Mariah Carey has been booked for a headline slot at this year's festival.
Mariah had been linked to Glastonbury on Tuesday, but when ClickMusic spoke to an inside source, it looked like the rumour was dead in the water after negative backlash. In a rare commentary on the line-up ahead of an official announcement, Eavis spoken out on Twitter
"Three nonsense headliner stories in a week, all completely untrue ... Real news will be with you soon!" Eavis stated.
Rihanna, The Rolling Stones and Arctic Monkeys are all rumoured headliners for Glastonbury 2013.
The festival has delayed its line-up announcement while they finalise bookings. Organisers will confirm this year's acts much closer to the event.
