In what might be today's weirdest news story, Mariah Carey is rumoured to be one of the headline acts of this year's Glastonbury Festival.
After winning over the public on American Idol, Mariah is hot property once again and organisers are in serious talks to book the Almost Home singer for Glastonbury 2013. If true, she's set to headline the Pyramid Stage on the weekend of June 28-30.
"Nothing has been signed yet, but discussions have been opened and both parties seem keen," a source told London's Evening Standard.
Mariah would join the likes of Coldplay, Beyoncé and Jay-Z to have performed headline slots at the festival. The booking would fuel the criticism that Glastonbury is becoming increasingly pop-focused over recent years.
Rihanna, Arctic Monkeys and The Rolling Stones are all rumoured to perform over the weekend, but the organisers are refusing to comment on acts until later in the year.
