Ellie Goulding has become the first number one album of 2014 with her second album, Halcyon.

Although originally released in October 2012, Ellie's second LP has taken 65 weeks to top the UK charts after peaking at number two in its first week of release. The feat is down to more people discovering the album over the past few weeks thanks to 'How Long Will I Love You?', which has been a strong presence in the Official Singles Chart.

Gary Barlow's Since I Saw You Last is holding strong at number two as it continues to sell well. Since it was released in November 2013, Gary's third solo album has sold almost 526,000 copies in the UK.

Beyonce climbs up to number three tonight as her surprise fifth studio album picks up momentum again. She's now sold 232,000 copies since December.

Robbie Williams' Swings Both Ways takes a minor tumble down the chart, finishing at number four in its seventh week, while John Newman's debut album climbs to number five.
