Updated: It's being reported that Azealia has now been dropped from Interscope following her homophobic slur.
It looks like a feud with Angel Haze wasn't enough to whet Azealia Banks' appetite. The '212' artist has now used a homophobic slur against Perez Hilton.
The spat came about yesterday when Perez criticised Azealia for her spats with other artists, including the high profile feud developing between her and BBC Sound of 2013 contender Angel Haze.
Hilton tweeted: "Some of your music is cute, but your attention-seeking ways are pathetic and hurtful. You drag while others choose to uplift!"
But Azealia didn't appreciate his pep talk and suggested that his criticism was tinged with jealousy: 'Whatever, bitch, you tried to sign me to ur little bum ass label in '11 with them bullshit ass artists..."
She continued: "omg u should just kill yourself... Like for real... lol what a messy f*ggot you are."
Twitter users took issue with Azealia's use of the slur and were quick to criticise her. One user wrote: 'So disheartening to see @AZEALIABANKS using slurs so haphazardly. People slip up, hopefully she educates herself and acts more thoughtfully.
However, some users defended Azealia against Perez's apparent double-standards.
@JayMackay97 wrote: '@AZEALIABANKS This is so stupid @perezhilton a man who slanders celebrities for a living takes offence to 1 measly word, how the world turns.'
Banks then defended her position, saying: "A f*ggot is not a homosexual male. A f*ggot is any male who acts like a female."
That didn't make things any better as Twitter users became incensed by her "ignorance".
"If u listen to my music and are not offended by the word nigga... We're not gonna go here with this f*ggot shit... We're just not. Lol."
Really not as moved by this f word thing as u all want me to be. As a bisexual person I knew what I meant when I used that word.

What do you think about the spat between the two celebrities? Do you think it was wrong for her to use the word in any context?
