The Who Announce Acoustic Set

The band to play a short set at the Teenage Cancer Trust shows at the Royal Albert Hall.

The Who have announced they will be performing a short acoustic set at this year's Teenage Cancer Trust shows.

Pete Townshend and Teenage Cancer Trust patron Roger Daltrey will perform on 13th April at the Royal Albert Hall, which is the last night of the yearly series of charity gigs. The 'TCT Sessions' will also feature Joan Armatrading, David Gray, Newton Faulkner and Amy Macdonald.

The week of concerts, which raise money for specialised units for teenagers with cancer, sees sets from Muse, Paul Weller, Madness and Noel Fielding.

A DVD of highlights from previous Teenage Cancer Trust shows has just been released. The DVD features footage of The Cure, Kaiser Chiefs, Kasabian, Razorlight, Noel Gallagher, The Who and Paul Weller. The DVD is available here, and all proceeds go to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
