Strokes Bassist For Solo London Show
Nikolai Fraiture to play as Nickel Eye at the Forum ahead of his debut album release.
The Strokes' bassist Nikolai Fraiture is to play a solo show in London next week.
Under the name Nickel Eye, Fraiture will be appearing at the Forum on 15th October, with South as his backing band. Support on the night will come from The Brian Jacket Letdown. His debut album 'The Time Of The Assassins' is expected to be released in January 2009.
Fraiture follows his bandmates Albert Hammond Jr, Julian Casablancas and Fabrizio Moretti in having a solo career, and plays a further two gigs in New York this month.
