Shins Keyboardist Arrested
Marty Crandall is held in a Californian jail after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend.
The Shins' keyboardist Marty Crandall has been arrested after Calfornian police were called to a domestic violence incident in a hotel.
Crandall was taken into custody on 4th January in Sacramento after his girlfriend Elyse Sewell was allegedly assaulted. Sewell, a former contestant on America's Next Top Model, posted a blog entry showing photos of her injuries, which has since been made private. She was initially arrested as Crandall had bite marks, but was released.
Crandall remains in Sacramento County Jail, with bail set at $25,000. He is set to appear in court on 8th January.
