Oasis To Close Electric Proms
The band to play London's Roundhouse on the final day of the Electric Proms, with Glasvegas in support.
Oasis have been announced as headliners of the final night of this year's BBC Electric Proms.
The band will play London's Roundhouse on Sunday 26th October, closing five days of events in London and Liverpool. Noel Gallagher revealed Oasis would be joined by the Crouch End Choir on the night: "There's 50 odd of them...because some of the songs on the album have got a 50 piece choir on them. So we're gonna do a night at the Proms with that lot, it should be good actually... Ennio Morricone uses them for his spaghetti western stuff in England, so I'm already looking forward to that because I've never played the Roundhouse and I've never done the Proms."
Support on the night will come from Glasvegas, and tickets go on sale at 8.15am, 30th September.
