Nine Inch Nails are to lose their drummer this year.
Trent Reznor announced that Josh Freese, who has been with the band since 2005, will be leaving following the upcoming North American tour. Reznor said: "Josh Freese fans, be sure to check out a show on the upcoming North American leg of the tour, as sadly they will be the last ones he's playing with us."
Reznor added that he and Freese will remain "dear friends", but that the drummer had expressed a desire to leave. A replacement has not been announced.
