Garbage To Return With Intimate Acoustic Gig

Band will make their first live appearance in 18 months for Californian benefit gig.

Garbage are to make their first live appearance in 18 months by playing an intimate acoustic gig in California.

The band are to appear at the Alex Theatre at Glendale to play a benefit gig for musician Wally Ingram, who is recovering from cancer. Other artists playing include The Pixies' Dave Lovering, Bonnie Raitt and Joey Santiago.

Garbage release their greatest hits collection 'Absolute Garbage' next month, whilst singer Shirley Manson works on her debut solo album.
