Damon Albarn For Solo London Gig
The singer to play his 2002 album 'Mali Music' at the Barbican in July.
Damon Albarn has announced a solo London show for next month.
The Blur and The Good, The Band And The Queen singer will perform his 2002 album 'Mali Music' at the Barbican on 5th July.
The show, titled 'An Honest Jons Chop Up', is being staged by the Honest Jons record shop. Albarn told NME how they inspired him: "I was constantly finding new music in there. It was my escape, going into that shop. Then I went to Mali and was really chuffed because I met musicians the shop had been recommending to me."
Albarn will also be playing shows in Lyon on 10th July, and New York on the 12th.
