Damien Rice, Shirley Bassey For Glasto
Rice to headline the acoustic stage, and Bassey to appear on the Sunday.
Dame Shirley Bassey has been confirmed for this year's Glastonbury, organiser Michael Eavis has revealed. The star will appear on the Sunday of the festival, which runs from 24th-26th June.
Damien Rice has also been announced as headliner for the acoustic stage, along with The Waterboys.
Glastonbury Festival was granted a licence yesterday, 27th March, by Mendip Council. This will allow the festival to expand from its previous capacity of 150,000. As a result, around 22,000 extra coach-package tickets will be sold.
Tickets go on sale to registered members of the public on 1st April, at 9am.
