Babyshambles’ Adam To Release Cassette
Roses Kings Castles to release a limited tape of demos.
Babyshambles drummer Adam Ficek is to release a limited edition cassette under his side project Roses Kings Castles.
Ficek spent two weeks recording demos in his bedroom, and the result is the six track cassette 'Roses Kings Cassettes'. The release will be limited to 100 copies, and fans must register at www.roseskingscastles.com to be in with a chance of buying one.
The tracklisting is:
Side A: 'Some Things Are Better Left Unsaid', 'I Killed You', 'Shut Your Stupid Little Mouth'
Side B: 'My Senses Bomb', 'You Alone A Mess', 'Outer Love Inner Space'
Ficek said: "I always liked cassettes and it has the added element of inferior audio quality, I fully endorse home taping! With regards to the creation process, my fans have been there every step of the way and I wanted to continue to make them a part of the DIY process. My swaggered suburban pop style encapsulates the home-made feel, I wanted to stay true to what Roses Kings Castles is all about – the music, the fans and me."
The proper versions of the songs will end up on the forthcoming EP 'Apples And Engines'.
