Amy’s Grammy Success

Amy Winehouse wins five Grammy Awards at the Los Angeles ceremony, accepted from a live London link.

Amy Winehouse was the biggest success at this year's Grammy Awards, winning five of the prizes.

The singer was unable to attend the Los Angeles ceremony last night (10th February) because of problems securing a United States work visa. Winehouse instead performed a couple of numbers in London for a live link to the show. She sang 'Rehab' and 'You Know I'm No Good' in front a small audience in London. Winehouse was awarded Record of the Year and Song of the Year for 'Rehab', Best Female Pop Vocal, Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album for 'Back To Black'.

New Artist: Amy Winehouse.

Female Pop Vocal Performance: 'Rehab' - Amy Winehouse
Male Pop Vocal Performance: 'What Goes Around... Comes Around' - Justin Timberlake
Alternative Music Album: 'Icky Thump' - The White Stripes
Electronic/Dance Album: 'We Are the Night' - The Chemical Brothers
