Danish orchestral rockers Efterklang have had a jolly old end to this decade, receiving the belated equivalent of a pat on the head from the good people of London when they last month performed their 2007 album Parades live at the Barbican in the esteemed company of The Britten Sinfonia, who are probably amazing. Anyway rather than take a long holiday to do whatever the hell it is Danish people do, they're back back back next year, and this time signed to the formidable 4AD. Their third album will be entitled Magic Chairs - groovy! - it's due out February 22, and at the end of the below link is a download of a song from it, 'Modern Drift'. Enjoy it, or The Britten Sinfonia will do you in.
