The Birthday JD Set is the culmination of a month of celebrations that take place throughout September to mark Mr Jack's birthday. After a fire at the local county courthouse no-one's real sure of the exact date he was born. All that's known is it was sometime in September 1850 – so at Jack Daniel's they celebrate on all 30 days to honour the man who created their fine Tennessee whiskey, culminating in an almighty gig of rock royalty.

The line-up features the UK's top music maestros: Brett Anderson, Carl Barât and Jon McClure (Reverend & The Makers). Each will perform a series of exciting, one-off collaborations with the New Silver Cornet Band - a group of hugely talented session musicians from Jack's homestead Tennessee, including David Hood, founder of the Muscle Shoals Sound Studio, and Wayne Carson, who wrote Elvis Presley's 'Always On My Mind'. This band was formed in celebration of the original Silver Cornet Band created by Mr. Jack back in 1892, thus starting JD's long-standing love and support of music.
There's no doubt this will be a once-in-a-lifetime show. Brett, Carl and Jon will perform a rare combo of their own tracks and specially chosen classic covers, creating completely unique duets and collaborations never to be heard again.
