Attic Lights are to make special personalised versions of their new single 'Wendy' available the week of release.
The Glasgow band have re-recorded the single, replacing the chorus with the country's most popular girls' and boys' names. Singer Kev Sherry said: "It's such a simple idea; I can't believe no-one's thought of doing it before. Just imagine your own personal versions of 'Ruby', 'Billie Jean', 'Hey Jude', 'Mandy', the list is endless!"
The personalised versions will be available to buy from 6th October, at www.yournameinasong.com. The original 'Wendy' is released the same day, with Attic Lights' debut album 'Friday Night Lights' out on 13th October.
They then go on tour with Paul Heaton, calling at the following:
