A 47 year old man has been charged with assault following this weekend's incident, which saw Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher attacked on stage.
The band were playing the V Festival in Toronto on Sunday 7th September, when Daniel Sullivan managed to break through security and push Gallagher off the stage. Noel was hospitalised with a suspected fractured rib and ligament damage.
Sullivan, from Pickering, Ontario, spent the night in police custody after being charged with assault, and will appear in court on 24th October.
