It's odd that metal, a genre that prides itself on celebrating the extremes of life and music is - with the exception of modern R 'n' B - consistent in producing the most polished and constrained records in the current climate. Well at least this is true in the case of Reading's Exit Ten.
'Warriors' finds the five-piece dealing in an extremely crunchy Americanised brand of rawk, complete with whining vocals that are aiming to strut down the road marked 'anthems' but sadly fall down a drain because they are simply that thin and weedy.
A bit harsh maybe, presumably this stuff is for teenagers with Lostprophets posters on their walls, and it is an undeniably well-executed and polished single, but is that enough? 'Warriors' is achingly predictable, from the chugging guitars and double-kick pedal on the drums, to the contemplative breakdown that arrives before yet another chorus. If Exit Ten are the Warriors then there's not much help for the rest of us.

WEEDY?? Redman's voice is epic. Disregard this review, reviewer is clearly deaf.

anyone who stumbles upon this review should not be put of by it. the reviewers opinion is based on how metal it is which shows you he is narrow minded. exit ten are amazing!
