Coldplay have revealed they are to release an EP of brand new material this December. They also mentioned they plan to work on a new album for 2009.
Speaking on BBC 6Music, frontman Chris Martin said: "We're going to put an EP out at Christmas called 'Prospects March' ." He mentioned that the EP could be released on 26th December.
Martin, who was on the air with bandmate Will Champion, whispered when he spoke of the new LP: "I've said it very quietly as we're not allowed to announce the album. But we're gonna have another record ready by November 2009 to end the decade."
The EP is rumoured to contain leftover tracks from the sessions for 'Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends'.
