Mystery Jets have been forced to cancel more live dates this week.
The band had to pull out of the Ripcurl festival in Cornwall, as frontman Blaine Harrison is suffering from ailments on his feet, relating to his spina bifida. It has now been announced that Mystery Jets will have to cancel further shows as Blaine is being treated in hospital. The cancelled appearances are:
AUGUST
8 London Underage Festival
9 London Field Day
10 Leicester Summer Sundae
In a statement Blaine said: "At this point in time it is impossible to say when we will be back on full fighting form, but I'd say Reading and Leeds are definitely as good a goal as any.
"I want to apologise to our fans who were looking forward to some Mystery Jets love this weekend at Summer Sundae and at Y Not and Kendall last weekend too, And to those who had planned to see us at Haldern and Newquay.
"Believe me, I would swap my intravenous drip and shitty hospital lasagne to be there any day of the week.
"P.S if anyone has any good ideas as how to kill some time (hint: 'Prison Break' season II) please post suggestions to our management's offices. Nice one."
