Dawn Kinnard's sultry rasping vocals, so tinged with paranoia and reminiscent of Macy Gray, ought to make for darkly delightful listening. Unfortunately the single fails to deliver on her promise.
This is an unadventurous number which sadly betrays her ethereal voice, and the dark electronic synth intro quickly disintegrates into a sickly, substandard song that could quite easily have been spewed up out of Pop Idol.
