Coldplay frontman Chris Martin walked out of an interview with Radio 4, as he was "not enjoying" it.
Martin, plus Coldplay drummer Will Champion, were being interviewed by John Wilson for the arts show Front Row, when Martin became uncomfortable with talking about new album 'Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends'. When asked if the album was a morbid reflection of the band's lyrical obsession with death, Martin said: "I wouldn't agree with you there at all, no. I'd say you're journalistically twisting me into saying something I don't really mean." A few minutes later, Martin left the pre-recorded interview, saying he was "not really enjoying this" and that he didn't like "having to talk about things".
Champion was left to continue the interview, before Martin returned at the end for a monosybillic answer to whether they had found new musical territory. 'Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends' is set to be the UK's number one album after being released on Thursday.
