Edwyn Collins has come up with a unique plan for his new single.

The singer has recruited a host of musicians, artists, actors and authors to create original pieces of artwork for his new single 'Home Again',.

Each of the artists (listed below) have customised a fold-over paper 7" sleeve which features one of Edwyn's distinctive pencil drawings - Edwyn has re-learnt how to draw with his left hand as part of his recuperative therapy.

The complete run of 1500 vinyls will then be sealed, amongst which will be the 25 specially customised sleeves, and then placed, at random, in a selection of record stores across the UK giving the public a chance to get hold of a highly collectable piece of original artwork for the cost of a 7" record.

Copies of the sleeves will all be displayed at an exhibition at The Social in London opening on 9th June at 5.30pm, and remain on display for four weeks. The night will also feature an acoustic performance from Edwyn and DJ sets from Andrew Weatherall & Pete Fowler.
