It's clear from the opening lines of the song that Sam Duckworth has returned with another slice of folk-pop-rock that reminds us of what he does best. Bright, uplifting and bouncy, the song is bound to leave you with a smile on your face. The brass instruments leave a distinct Mexican feel to the song and along with the guitars, drums and Duckworth's distinctive voice, the result is a three minute, foot tapping, feel good tune that is perfectly timed for the warm summer months.
Yet along with the lyrics "stuck in reflection" you can't help but think that Duckworth is just that, stuck. Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly has created a good sound for himself but it is becoming a tad repetitive - perhaps it's time for him to raise his game and give us something that will get a few more people listening.
