If this jazzy number doesn't make you want to dance then little will. Its crisp clean production is extremely infectious, a soulful radio friendly gem that breezes along in an effortlessly cool manner. It's got quite a distinct sound that is reminiscent of Goldfrapp, but more instrument orientated, with a stop start fashion that adds to its hip shaking splendour.
It's a testament to the compelling nature of the vocals here that they are comparable to a certain Ms Winehouse. If the said act got her life on track, ditched the sleazy vibes and adopted a more modern stance to her sound she might sound a little like this, and if she is by chance looking for some influence for her hugely anticipated third album she could do a lot worse. The former Tricky vocalist will need no justifications as to why she's gone solo if this a sign of things to come.
