A lonely voice sucks the listener in, guitar music crashes in on top and melodic, cheerful little hooks twist and turn in and out of the song; the chorus, sweet, almost sickly, just manages to keep its head above water. If the sun stays out this slice of catchy summery pop will be just the blast to capture the moment well. It's ideally positioned to wow the teenage crowd and is placed somewhere between pop, electro and rock.

B-side 'To Be More Animal' similarly has the hooks that get the attention, though they don't do much in the way of expanding on them or building to a great climax. The sentiment of being 'more animal' is something a lot of us could relate to, so despite not being the greatest leap for the musical imagination it does have two minutes and fifty five seconds of certain sharpness.

The final b-side 'Hopeless and Emotionless' enters on a wave of synth with simple lyrics, but ones that are honest and open about the feelings it explores, summed up by the title. Probably the weakest song here but there is a definite market for this pop music and those fans will probably love this to bits.
