Starting off with a subtle Baroque-styled intro, 'Hooray' quickly segues into what can only be described as the Christmas single The Lightning Seeds never wrote. Lost in the Yuletide reverie, you can almost picture the triumphant Hootenanny performance, complete with bell-ringers and a grinning Jools Holland, when Greg Gilbert suddenly bursts the bubble with the line "I am a garbage man tonight and I just don't believe my eyes".
Dealing with the serious issue of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, 'Hooray' should be filed away in a spotless filing cabinet, odd numbers on the left even numbers on the right, scrubbed clean every day and then brought out again to be re-issued sometime around December 2008.
