We Are Scientists trumpet their forthcoming second album with flagship single 'After Hours', and following the departure of their drummer, fans will be relieved to know that everything still appears to be dapper, even without Tapper. Starting off with the atmosphere of an Arcade Fire track (using their trademark incidental noises), it soon finds its feet as it kicks into a Killer groove - one that Brandon Flowers himself would be proud of.
Lyrically celebrating that youthful window of opportunity, where nights out go on forever and "time means nothing", it exhibits all the associated exuberance, but comes armed with enough hooks to guarantee the listener's undivided attention throughout. Like all good scientists though, they'll no doubt be familiar with the concepts of time travel. Maybe next time they'll have a go at going forward.
