Coldplay have revealed they are close to finishing their new album.
The band wrote in their blog that they are in the final mixing stages of their fourth LP: "Mixing has been slow and painstaking but that's just the nature of the beast. So... give us another month or so and we might just have an album worthy of your patience."
Coldplay also quashed rumours that the album will be titled 'Prospekt', although they haven't revealed a title yet. Two new song titles were also announced in the blog entry: 'Lovers In Japan' and 'Strawberry Swing' were recorded just before Christmas.
The album is expected to be released on 19th May.
