Morrissey will not be rescheduling the three recent postponed London shows, it has been announced.
The singer was taken ill on the third night of his six-night residency at London's Roundhouse venue. See our review of the abandoned night of 25th January here. The following two shows on the 26th and 27th January were subsequently postponed.
A statement just issued from promoters SMJ reads: "The Artiste and Promoters tried strenuously to reschedule the three shows but it proved impossible. We would like to extend our apologies to all of Morrissey's loyal fans over this unavoidable situation."
The statement then goes on to explain the refund procedure for the shows: "Ticket holders for the abandoned Friday 25th Jan show will be automatically refunded to the patron's credit/debit cards. Ticket holders for the cancelled Saturday 26th Jan and Sunday 27th Jan shows should return their unused tickets to the point of purchase for a refund."
